Mr. Drake "Vindicator" Viscome who has been a member since 1967 (the beginning of the JA Decal Club)
has just purchased some JA decals for his 49th & 50th different drag race cars for his sons Drake & Greg.
A Stock & a Super/Stocker!
Drake a former Ford Dealer in Carmel, N.Y. now a resident of N.C. has had dragsters, altereds, stockers,
super stock, funnies both injected, blown on alcohol & fuel.

A great time at Cecil County Dragway at the 10th Annual Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Drags & Car Show yesterday.
Many old members of the JA Decal Club were there and a lot were racing.
New members are; Doug & Jennifer Wood, the Rocky Pirrone Racing Team, the "Frantic Ford" Racing Team of
Al Liebmann, Tom B., Bobby F., and Brian Gawlik and the "Super Camaro" Racing Team.

Mr. Steve "Mr. Mopar" Reasbeck of Johnstown, Pa., is the newest member.
He has been racing "Mopars" for years.

Last week at the York US30 Reunion some new members join the decal club. They were;
York staffer John Simmons, Tommy Laird who traveled all the way from Mississippi,
BJ Barger a wounded war veteran, Jim Kramer's "Hemi-Hilman" C/A (Jim redid his car
as he has been a member for over forty years, Charlie Reinhardt of Jenkins Competition,
Tom Gunshannon, Don Glover a retiree from the Hurst Corp., the Henry J "Hombre" of
Harold "Bunky" Burket, and the world's fastest truck (Dodge) of Dan & Wayne Jesel.
The Jesels will at Bonneville in August too reset the world record.
An amazing thing hit me there also, there were five cars there that have members
of the (JA) Decal Club for over forty years! They are; Larry Lombardos "Buckshot" Corvette,
the Mori Bros. "ChevWagen", Wayne Jesel's "YooHoo" Chev wagen. he "Hemi'Hilman" of
Jim Kramer and the Hahn & Hahn dragster that was the Hahn & Turner " Blue Mountain
Express" back in the late '60's. Newbies Judy Freels, Pat Campbell & Harold "Corky" Burket &
his 1953 "Hombre" Henry J.
Also the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Urbana, Md.

The "60 Years of Cars & Stars" at Colonial Beach Dragway Sat., August 4th, promoted by
Gary Gore had these new members joining the club. There are; Bob Bagley, John Wright,
Mike White, Jim Kinsella, Doug Hewitt, Paul White & Richard Weitzel.
Also the Pancho Villa Mexican Restaurant in Dahlgren, Va.

Sat., Oct. 6th at Gary Gores' "Lost in the 60's" car show at Eastside Speedway, Mike & Karen Tollison won a
class with their new (JA) JAck Approved "BBCC" Blown Black Chevy Camaro with the help of Julie Wallace.
Then up to the new Dominion Speedway in Thornburg, Va., thanks to my son John to see my old friends and
owners of the speedway, Steve & Cari Britt, Re-JAck Approved them and the track. This great track is located
one block off of Rt.95 at Exit. 114 and always has a show of some type besides racing going on, Check them out.
Then on Tuesday Oct. 9th thanks too Dale Broderick, we went to the Annual meeting of Marco DeCerasis's
American Racing Performance Museum in Lothian, Maryland. A few old racers re-join the (JA) JAck Approved
Decal Club. They were; Al Cduzzi of Al's Racing Engines, Jack Salwacter, John "Dodge Dart" DeRosa, Richard
"Peabody" Boyd's Exide sponsored Top Alcohol Dragster and of course the museum and Marco's new Red
Super Street Camaro. Also ole racer and still racing JAck Arnew.

"Budweiser" F/C of Roy Harris redone by Bruce & Kimberly Amspacker (Kim's refrig too!(g) and the
Boro Bar & Grill Riverview in Harrisburg, Pa.
