Hey Gang!

Well I thought I better get in on the intro's since I'm sorta new to the forum, but not so new to the DragList (thanks Bill!)

Blair Alderton here, located in cold (just like Jim in Gimli) Moose Jaw, SK, Canada, and a few short hours from S.I.R. or Saskatchewan International Raceway, SK's only NHRA sanctioned 1/4 mile track. I have been the "official" S.I.R. photographer for the past 7 years, but have been around the sport for as long as I can remember (and that's gettin' to be so long it's gettin' hard to remember). Used to attend the "Northstar Nationals" in lovely Brainerd MN in the early years and have many, many stories from "Cambodia" as we used to call it. If you have ever been there, you know!!

Anyway, that's about all the bandwidth I need to take up, look forward to spending some quality time here over the winter.

Cheers,
Blair

Great to have you here, Blair. Man, I miss those days when I had the time to put up a new photo every day. Guys like you kept me supplied. Now I have a stack of them that I can't seem to get to. Thanks again for gracing our pages with your work and our forum with your thoughts. bp

Thanks for the warm welcome guys...

Thanks wheelzman - that low 9 sec, street legal '41 Willy's (6-71 blown, nitrous small block Chevy, stick car), is an amazing machine that I never tire of shooting! The car is from Saskatoon, and the owner, builder and driver, Brad Chilliak, is about as humble as they come.

Hey Jim, storms?? what storms??? this is just a "normal" prairie winter
