Hey Gang, I am Dave Doctrow from a small town just west of Baltimore, Sykesville-Home of the Crazy Nut Farm known as the Springfield Hospital and of the Maryland State Police Training Facility. I use to live on the street next to Jack Redd in Downtown Camp Springs. I worked in Bill Pratt's hometown of Waldorf,Md for the last 15 years.I received my first dose of Nitro in 1974 at New London Dragway in Lynchburg, Va from my late uncle Ray Ray English and the late Woody Hatten of Super Stock Magazine fame. We use to go to Old Dominion Speedway with Carol Henson and Dennis Whitestone on Friday Nites for the BB/FC shows that Nick Bontifante use to promote. Then on saturday and sundays Ray Ray or Woody would take me to either MIR, Colonial Beach,Aquasco or York U.S. 30 and drop me off in the tower so that they could shoot pictures for the magazine. Those were the days.I use to Bracket Race at MIR in the late 1980's with my 70 Chevelle SS 396 4speed. Wish i still had it. Got into trouble with it on the street and learned my lesson, end result no more Chevelle.Glad to be a new member. Thanks Prostock100
