I'm Tom and I love to talk about drag racing. I have a very heavy and pretty slow GMC 1/2 ton that I drag race and I am trying to lighten it up. It currently weighs about 3900 lbs and runs high 13's. I want to get it down to about 3000 lbs and into the 10's. Any ideas to lighten it up are welcome....I'm on a tight budget since I do want to stay married.
No such thing as "too slow" here. We got everything from VW's to Nitro F/C's. As long as yer good people and love drag racing, you found the right place. Welcome

Just Starting

Postby jimbo17 » Thu Nov 19, 2009 8:14 am

My name is Jim Hill and I have loved drag racing since the early 60's and always been kind of Car Crazy.

I own Nostalgic Racing Decals which started has a hobby about 8 years ago.

There is so much history to drag racing and so many great people who became legends along the way that really made drag racing what it is today.

Most people who know me just call me Jimbo

Looking for the entry list for the 1964 Indy Nationals

Postby jimbo17 » Thu Nov 19, 2009 8:24 am

I am trying to find a source for a copy of the complete entry list for Indy for 1964 or other years from the 60's

Any idea where to look?

I have some old copies of the programs from Indy from the late 60's but would really like to find an old entry list per class.

Thanks for you help. Jimbo
