great news Lippy. Glad to hear the prayers worked.

Small towns R cool. I grew up in a town of 599. That's what the sign on the edge of town said anyway. Then we moved to the unincorporated town of German Valley. Pop. 9.

Image
German valleyleft to right. Our house 2 ppl@ the time. Next, Gernal Store with everything from groceries, hardware, clothes, shoes, and just about anything else a farming community might need. 1 person (Carl Krause).
Next was our shop. Auto, truck, tractor, combine, repair, welding, machine work, hydralic hose assembly, parts dept & and anything else a farming community might need. Oh, and I did custom paint jobs on Street rods, pull trucks, race cars, etc. When you have a pop of 9 you have to be flexible. :D :D :D Oh wait. Cheryl had an apholstery shop in there too.
Next house was a young couple 2 more that's 5.
Next house up the road had an elderly couple 2 more that's 7.
Not pictured here is a new house across the road 2 more that's 9. That new house was German Valley'z subdivision.
Little square building in the foreground usta' be a country school, but back in the 70's it was used for 4-H, girls scouts and community gatherings. We usually had more than 9 poeple at those cuz' we'd get alot of out-a-townerz ya' know.
