I missed the races yesterday, got caught up on the internet...surprise ending, what a thriller...played a show with the Pee Wee Bowen Band at Haak Winery in Santa Fe, Tx, it was a blast...hot, too. The band is playing great and the place was packed, it was a fantastic weekend, both gigs went over large...played in Galveston Friday night with exactly the same results as yesterday. Life is good.

I'm gonna hire one of Nick's buddies to mow and trim the front lawn. I have the tools ready to go but it's too hot for me to go out there and do.

Gonna kick back today and make notes for my music segment tonight on Racin' and Rockin'. I don't need notes for my own stuff but I want to be sure to remember to say what I'm planning to say and the way I do these deals (just talk right off the top of my head), it'll be good to have a few notes handy...

Tomorrow is one of the biggest days of my life. I'm going to file for Social Security. May November get here quickly! Cheers, WC1
