It was pretty scarry where I live I'll be the first to admit
I was downstairs and a low rumble like a washing machine out of balance started and seconds later things were falling from cabinets and off walls.Lasted close to a minute here.Downtown Culpeper about 2 miles from us took a pretty good lick.5 aftershocks since with latest coming at 1:00am this morning a healthy 4.5.Got my attention.Coral had hand surgery yesterday and let out a yelp waking me and I thought she had hurt her hand...she was actually laying awake when it hit...took me a second or two to realize"whole lotta shakin' goin 'on"Got some pretty good foundation cracks from the initial quake and found out from Ins.NO coverage without earthquake rider!!!! Probably not too many Virginians have this so I'm guessing a lot of unhappy folks will be out there
