HEY!!! How did this leak out!? Our tallies were unofficial after our meeting.

We always check to see if folks can be on hand to accept. That info must have been intercepted!

Four other legends are still secret (for now)! BP

Was reminiscing about the Freeman family today while in their home town of Bowling Green Va.
When that gang pulled in to tracks like Colonial Beach,Manassas,Sumerduck,Richmond(not VMP!) the party was on!
Never got the credit they deserved, came out with a new effort a couple of years back with the late Bert Jackson at the wheel but both times I saw the car mechanical gremlins ended
the day. 200mph doorslammer when not a lot were.
Glad they are getting recognition.

They were great racers and hugely popular from DC to Richmond. Their 68 all-motor Camaro was just as fast as the touring mountain motor pro stock cars that came through at MIR. The only reason they couldn't compete and maybe win was their body year! I think the remaining four honors recipients this year will be well received, too! bp
