Great pics, Gary!
Thanks, Pete!
Here is the photo of me and my lovely and brilliant friends Jenn and Kristina. Of course my lovely and brilliant friend Tia took the shot!
It was a 70s themed picnic. So I wore what I ACTUALLY wore in the 70s! My USS NIMITZ cruise jacket with patches of all the exercises and cruses I took part in. I designed the patch with the Wizard on it and came up with the slogan "Wizards of Comm" -- we earned the Green C rating -- the best communications center in the Navy -- during those days. I was wearing my uniform shirt underneath, too! PS. Those who knew me in the day will vouch that my hair was not much smaller than this at times. Same color, too! It was a fun day. bp
What's a 70s party without doing the "Bump" (with my friend Karen)?
Here's our buddy Tia doing her best "Foxy Brown / Christie Love" impression (right). Our friend Nicole had a great Native American / Earth Girl hippie thing going too!
Costume winners for most colorful, most entertaining, and most authentic were Deneal, Patrick and Kristina. Hey, I was in the running for the last two but I got outdone by the younger folks! (as it should be!)
