Morning folkz. It was 52 when I went to bed, 60 now and 59 later this afternoon with rain on the agenda for all day. Sharon and I went for breakfast yesterday, stopped at the post office then over to get a prescription for her glasses as she found a deal on some new ones. We prepped her bucket for this week and did laundry while watching the Xfinity race, some prerecorded shows and then the Truck race so it was a good day. Off to church in a while then when we come back the neighbor lady and Sharon are having a girl's lunch out today. They have been planning this for weeks and it finally is coming to fruition. The dog and I will have to hold the fort down till later this afternoon. NO problem!!!!!! I learned something new today and that was "bellwether." Never heard that one before. Glad Boyd is going to the A&W as that is a good sign, take it easy Boyd. I know it isn't easy for someone who is used to being active but like you said, you must pace yourself. I've gotten so adapt at pacing myself this winter I need a boot in the rear to get me going sometimes.
Good morning. 4c cloudy. we got 10 inches of snow Friday and night. I was to meet friends at the Transportation Museum[old trucks] but cancelled myself out. I had planed on only clearing the front stairs and a walking path on the driveway. I hardly got started when two neighbours arrived with shovels an clear the whole driveway. I helped a bit. After a 2 hour rest I clear the carport roof. Which is quite flat. Spent the rest of the day indoors.
Morning group. 31 and 53 today with sunshine of all things! That will be a change. I got up this morning and the dog was not in her usual location as she is penned up over night, I was calling her name and running around trying to find her and almost tripped over her when I ran up the steps. Here Sharon forgot to pen her up and I was in a panic. I called Sharon, as she wasn't in the building at work yet, and she almost laughed herself to death because of my dilemma. She'sa gonna have to pay for that!! When I called her I said, "Lucy, you have some splain'in to do." Only the older generation will get that one. Hopefully the new door handle for Sharon's Honda will be delivered today so I can install it tomorrow as the weather is going to be in the upper 50's with more sun.
