Got to the hotel a little earLy tonight, so I thought I'd post a few shots of our Salt Flats stop. We've had a fair share of rainouts on the west coast, but I guess that's to be expected this time of the year.

Headin' back home we've been racking up the miles. Out on the open range the Speed limit is 80 most of the time So traffic is running 85 or so.
After the Columbia River Gorge, which was pretty cool, I got some great shots of Canyon Falls in Yellowstone along with a bunch of other sites. Buffalo, Elk. Some very very long views from 8,600 ft. We hadn't had clear skies for several days, so that was a nice change. Stopped at Crazy Horse, Hadn't been there in 26 years, progress is slow but steady. Then to Mount Rushmore where they're redoing the theater area and they've built all new Restaurant, gift shop, etc. since we were there. THey say the current upgrades will be done in 24 months. Tonight we're in Sioux Falls SD. Took some night shots of the falls after dinner and now were about ready to crash for the night. I seem to be running out of space for all the photos. Picking up more HD space is on the calendar when we get home.

We're in Wabasha, Minnesota tonight. We went to the National eagle center on the Mississippi river this afternoon, then out to dinner at a riverside restaurant. Tomorrow will be our last day, little over 7 hours of driving and we'll be back home.

Finally home. Cheryl has been under the weather off and on the last few days, so she's taking tomorrow off to go see the doc.
I'm sorta' kinda' not officially back to work until Nov. 1. I may do some sign stuff this week on a gotta' have it now basis, but if it isn't pressing, it will wait until November. Our weather station showed we had 2.74" of rain yesterday and another .07" today. Big ponds all over when we got home confirmed it.

Glad you made it back safely. Sorry Cheryl is not feeling well. Hope she gets better soon! We actually had sunshine and 75 yesterday; much cooler today but still nice. I had jury duty but lucked out and got sent home early. Tomorrow, too. Might have to go in on Wednesday. bp

Got Cheryl to the Doc. She's home until she feels better. Lost her voice completely yesterday.
Got some photos processed of the trip. Our second stop was Crater Lake, OR.
