Light snow overnight & 12.3°f. Light wind now, but it was strong yesterday and stronger last night. The storm has delayed the Hydro barrier that's on order, so that part of the project is on hold for about a week they say. So, I'm going to work on refinishing the vanity, updating the hardware and installing the doors I never got around to making when we built the addition .

Still cloudy 36.6°f to start topping out in the upper 40's. We had a pot luck planned for small group tonight, but about half the group is sick, so that will be postponed 'till "later". The hydro barrier that was stalled in the storm & promised for next week, now is in Rockdale, so maybe it will show up sometime today? That would be a nice turn of events.

Whoooo Hooo. The latest bucket of Hydro Barrier was delivered about 4 hours ago. Got-er applied. Got about a gallon left to do an extra coat on the bottom half of the shower just before the tile goes down. Gotta let it dry, so I'll probably work on signs for awhile. Once it's dry it's time to figure out the tile layout.

So, I got the bath done about 4p. Went outside and to my surprise it was in the upper 40's and sunny. So, I asked Alexa when the sun was 'spoze to go down. 5:30p she says. So, I loaded up the 2 - 8'x8' real estate signs and headed to Morris. Got em done at 5:33p and it was still 47°·f. By the time I drove home it was 38°f. They say single digits tonight, so I'm glad to have the job out of the way.

Well, it didn't make it into the single digits but it did get down to 10.8°f. I be working inside today. I have a bunch of decals to make for a local marina that should take up a good share of the day. Then, off to the Kids/Grandkids to celebrate Jeff's Birthday.

Hi, everyone. Got Denise's mom and dad all packed up but the moving van did not show today. In a holding pattern until we can call in the morning and find out what's up. It's been nice here but Omaha will be as cold as Gary describes his home town. Hoping to be on the road tomorrow. bp

Afternoon folkz. Sharon and I were wondering how the move was going bp. Wow, finally back from the dead file as my modem decided to die on me. Spectrum sets the schedule so I had to wait my turn in line. I figured it was the modem as I couldn't even reset it but had to wait on them to verify it. The tech hooked me up with a modem from Spectrum but it has no wifi and costs x dollars a month to rent so I will be making a purchase in the very near future. Sharon and I have had a few wonderful days together what with Thursday being Valentine's Day where I took her out to Red Lobster for lunch then we picked up Lola from school. Oh, I had to go for a breathing test before that and we stopped off for a cup of coffee at BK. Ran into a few car guys there and they were asking me about my 55 Chebbie and why I haven't got it together. I told them that a $10,0000 donation would help the healing process on it and the conversation was over!!! Friday Sharon wanted some good spaghetti so we tried a new place called BRAVO Cucina Italiana. The wedding soup was very very good, Sharon's spaghetti was so-so and my lasagna was horrible. The menu talked of all the recipes being grandmother's own specialties and if so she must not have had any taste buds with her lasagna!!! $15 for spaghetti is a little steep and the portions were small. First and last time for us. Saturday was spent in the house and waiting for the Spectrum tech so we didn't get anything done. Today was breakfast then church then home for another leisurely day. Tomorrow I have to get a haircut and look for a new modem, maybe check out a new computer too. :D :D :D
