An MIT mathematician came up with an algorithm to determine a daily calorie average to achieve a weight goal in a specified period. I plugged in 100 lbs. in a year on July 26. I had already lost a modest 15 From January to June. So I wanted to go from 325 to 225 by June 26, 2013. The daily amount of 1685 calories doesn't seem like a lot but it is not hard to do once you get used to it! I use a website called fatsecret.com to track what I eat and track progress... Thanks for asking... Next Draglist Nats should be a surprise... :D bp

I did 30. Crept up a little, but I'll get back on it after the Holidays. Everybody still recognizes me.

Congrats, all! In looking at the pics from the Draglist Nats, I could already see a difference. I'll upload a shot from the recent Legends event at Budds Creek that is pretty shocking... But Thanksgiving was not kind to me... up 6.5 lbs. But I'll drop that in a week or so... bp

Yes! That is the guy. I went to his online app to get the 1685 per day number, and then used FatSecret.com (with accompanying ipad app) to help keep me honest... I think I needed the raw numbers to help me stay on track. bp

We're going over Kyle's house this time. Our friends the Holroyds will also be going. Gonna have a feast and watch the Texans/Lions on their big flat-screen TV. Should be a fun time! You're all invited! WC1
Having a bunch over for dinner, we'll be watching the game also, but we'll be rootin for the LIONS.
(update) my son just walked by and said , Dad TEXAS should beat us.

Oh well, think of me everytime LIONS score, and I'll think of you if Texas scores..... :P :P

To everyone, a safe and great holiday. And remember............be thankfull :D
Zappy, I thought about you A LOT during that game. I am going to enter counseling next week after going through that disturbing FOUR HOUR GAME. So is everybody else in town. 3 major topics here since...the non-touchdown that was upheld by the challenge flag snafu, the missed field goals and turnovers in OVERTIME, and Ndamukong Suh's kick to Schaub's package. Weird rule that I'd never heard of gave the Texans that score. It would have been overturned by mandatory replay on a scoring play, but well, OK. We took the points and that got us back in the game. Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson were unbelievable, and we were lucky to get out of there with a win. The Texans are banged up and exhausted now and the schedule looms before them. What they have going for them is that they are a complete team...they have depth at every position, and they are well-practiced. But still (and everybody everywhere agrees), that rule is not right and that shouldn't have been a touchdown...I heard they will do an interview with Schaub once his voice drops back down a couple of octaves...

BP, I didn't know you lost 60 lbs! That's fantastic! My hat's off to you and Wheelz for sticking with the diets. That ain't easy. I'm still about the same but it does seem that the bulky areas of my body are shifting location...like from the shoulders to the midriff...but I certainly admire you and Wheelz' dedication. Cheers, WC1
