....reportedly passed away last weekend at Irwindale's drag strip "doing what he loved to do best". Mr. Conrad, a longtime Brotherhood member, was doing a burnout when he suffered a seizure. Ed's aim was true out of the water box and he hugged the rail all the way past the lights, where-throttle open and tires still lit- one of the safety crew broke through his window and shut him off.
Ed Conrad was 62.
