AKA Randy Poffo. Apparently had a heart attack and crashed his Jeep into a tree today.

One of the most popular pro wrestlers ever, his personna was bigger than life and expanded to major films (Spider Man) and Slim Jim commercials.

He was the brother of Lanny Poffo (AKA the Poet Laureate). He was also a friend of my sister Diana. In fact, Randy and Andre the Giant were slated to come to my high school graduation party but a last minute schedule change prevented that.

Farewell to one of the classic "Heels"... bp

Rest in peace, Macho Man, and thanks for the great entertainment and friendship to BP's sister. You did great. WC1

He was awesome! Macho Man vsHulk Hogan were some of the greatest old school matches ever in the squared circle.
I used to take my son and some nephews to the Cap center frequently in the hey-day of WWF back in the 80s and saw Randy many times.
Bigger than life and truly a superstar.
He and his brother"Leapin' Lanny" Poffo made lots of $$ for Vince McMahon and the WWF
RIP
