Brandon Pierce earns Runner Up finish in Memphis

Brandon Pierce of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma finishes off this weekend with a Runner Up Finish at the third of seven South Central Division 4 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event in Memphis, Tennessee.

This most recent performance now places the Baby 1 Girl Clothing/Sooner One A/Fuel Dragster Race Team sixth within the NHRA National point standings and in a strong third position within the Lucas Oil's South Central Division 4 points series.

Pierce, who qualified in the number one position for the second race in a row notes "We ran really well on the first qualifier and worked hard all weekend to repeat that performance. We were extremely lucky this weekend because we broke a fuel timer and had to readjust our tune up to compensate".

The Baby1Girl/Sooner1Racing A/Fuel Dragster Team will next be racing at this weekend's up coming NHRA O'Reilly Spring National's event in Baytown, Texas.

The 4th National Event of 23 in the NHRA Powerade Series kicks off on Friday, March 30th with two rounds of qualifying at 1:30 and 5:00 p.m. for the Alcohol Class.
