It's going to be a 427 or 434. 4" stroke with 4.125 or 4.155 bore. (that's one reason for the raised cam, wide pan rail block so I don't have to run a cam that looks like a pencil with lumps) I considered building a short stroke screamer, but figured keeping the rpm down should help a bit on part longevity (with somewhat inexpensive parts). You have to spend a bit more money to get all the good exta light stuff to make a screamer live. (of course I haven't bought the rotating assembly yet, and you know how I think too much... )

Yes, it will still have the blower on it. Y'all know me better than that ;) I'm going to run the same blower and Hilborn upright that I had on the hemi.

Geez - almost 2 years since this thread has been dug up! Gorilli threatened to throw rotten bannana peels at me if I didn't update y'all.

After a bit of a hiatus due to lack of time, lack of funds, lack of motivation  work has begun to put things back together.

While I was out of the garage a mouse came in and scared the elephant out

The engine's been mounted. I fabbed up an oil pan that fits around the lower a-arm mounts. The last thing I just finished up was the headers.

I've accumulated probably half of the major peices. Made a shopping list the other day and the boss said I needed to wait until after the xmas bills

Perhaps a little "time out" is just what you needed. Glad to see progress is once again being made.
That car is SOOOOOO cool. 8) 8)
Keep us posted sir, please.
