At The Track

My neighbor across the street called me yesterday as we were driving home from enjoying dinner with the Draglist Posse in Oskaloosa and told me his brother had called to say he was bringing his Hurst Dart to the track to run it today. The car was first owned by the Wayne County Speed shop and Fast Eddie is the fourth owner, having owned the car since the late 80's. He has turned down big money for it.

It was there today and the crazy guy was putting the front end five feet into the air, much to the crowd's delight. Thanks to Al for providing these great tidbits which made announcing those runs more interesting for sure! bp

Thanks for the update, BP. I figured you all were busy. I know how it goes. I just had to get a little whine in. I'd like cheese with that too, please. Sounds like a wonderful DNL IV. Gonna go peruse some of the pics you posted. Thanks again, and I MISS YOU ALL!!!!

Can't wait to see the Zaps later this afternoon! :)

Lady Linda and, Zap stopped here on their way home, and clued us in to the goings on in Iowa over the weekend. It sounded like everyone had a great time. Wish we could have been there. Definately will make it next year. Sorry we couldn't be there. We sure missed seeing eveyone.
