BP would there be a problem, do you think, with carrying a camera bag around DC? It would be nice to have a place to put the camera away when not in use, so it doesn't get dinged. It would be the one I've used at Cordova, more the size of a small back pack than a camera case. With the bad wrap back packs have gotten the last few years, I wouldn't want to draw undo attention, ya' know.

No, that would be be fine and is done all the time. You will probably get it inspected as you go into museums etc. In fact, some have scanners like the airport. bp
