Great! For planning purposes, I live 24 miles from MIR in Waldorf. La Plata is about 8 miles closer to MIR. I'm 24 miles from DC. So Waldorf is about halfway between DC and MIR. bp

( Bill for planning purposes, ) is this the kind of deal that we are gonna want to go to the track both
days, or one??? I know it is listed as a 2 day event,but sometimes one day is the main show.

Don't worry ladies, in case it's the kind of race that's a one day affair mainly, Linda is already
looking into shopping malls. Perhaps the guys go the second day while the gals shop.....

Oh, the gals will be well taken care of for shopping, etc. Denise has the place wired. I typically do both days at the track as I do the awards presentations and other stuff. But we have lots of time for planning. I will be attending the planning committee meetings this year (as I always do) and I will ensure we have things planned out to do at the track. bp

How many days in total are we planning?

The race happens on two days on the weekend. I'm going to make myself available for the week before the event for anyone who wants to come in early. I don't have anything solid planned, but once we get an idea of when folks are coming in, we can make plans. I would say at least Thursday but earlier than that will work for me so long as your hotel budget lasts! bp
