I'm sorry, Eric. I'll look at it again when I can be productive. I have a massive headache and I'm no good to anybody right now. Let me look at it again one of these days. I'm sure I can come up with something. bp

That sounds like a good idea Eric. I'd be happy to look over anything you come up with. Heck if we come up with something good, I might use it at the school here.

All the basic classes that everyone hates in school can be related to the sport in some way - lord knows I've told my kids this every time they say they want to do something when they grow up, but then complain about hating their courses in school. I get a call from the local machine shop every now and then with a math problem they can't figure out (how much will a thicker head gasket change C/R?, etc.), so right there is a good example of math.

that'd be sweet. wish somebody stepped up that way when i was in school.

i dont think running the car on the stands would be a bad idea. I would be real hesitant (spell? <- good example of not pay'n attention in english class) on the convertor check/stall tho. We had our dragster up at a local car show, same with the 57 when we had it. Mainly jus idled them with occational rev up as if we were checking timing. (neutral/park of course) I tell you what...for people being around sprint cars and they think their loud, i busted out laughn when they all jump 2 ft in the air and 5 ft back when blipp'n the trottle.

Pinks all out in Tucson at SIR

Postby azdracer » Sat Nov 10, 2007 3:10 am

Pinks all out will be in Tucson next week Nov. 16 and 17th. I am looking forward to this I think it should be a great race. I mean how often do you get to see some crazy guy willing to stand out there and wave his arms at all out race cars. :D . The tarck is also going to run a big bucks bracket race on Sunday for the guys who cant run the Pinks (no dragsters or open wheel cars) I am going to try to run that. I will be working Tech on Fri. and Sat. If you are in the area and can run 12.99 or faster in your door car come out and run with us.

Damn it all! My home away from home, and I have to attend a kids birthday party. I gotta get the wife some flowers quick and set the stage for my absence from the cake, ice cream and bouncers circuit. The shot depicting Lou Gasperrilli's blown gas Sattellite is a classic. I got to see the car, when it is was clothed with a Vette shell, on its maiden voyage. It was all over the place. I hope you attendees will be able to post some pics of his cars, starting with the Anglia.
