THIS SUNDAY July 29, it's Raceway Park's NOSTALGIA SUMMERNATIONALS!!-- THE LONGEST RUNNING NOSTALGIA DRAG RACE IN THE ENTIRE U.S.A!!-- Both events earn my highest rating of an unprecedented "5 Doc Stars"!!-- So you know it's gonna ROCK!! Two incredible "old school" drag racing events happening THIS WEEKEND at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park. THIS SATURDAY NIGHT July 28th is the DEAD MAN'S CURVE DRAGS (5-10pm), and then THIS SUNDAY, July 29th it's the NOSTALGIA SUMMERNATIONALS (featuring the FUNNY CAR REUNION). "Dastardly" Dave Sano will be there with his slick "Screamin' Insanity" 1973 Blown Alcohol Grand-Am Nostalgia Funny Car and so should YOU!!...

DAVE SANO will be joined by "CRAZZZY" JAKE CRIMMINS, "POVERTY STRICKEN", "TIME BOMB" VEGA, ROCKY PIRRONE'S "SCREAMING EAGLE" FIREBIRD, "AGENT ORANGE", LIL' MISS BEHAVIOR, WILLIE JOHNSON'S "NO MONEY NO FUNNY" NOVA, THE "POISON ARROW", and more including THE EAST COAST GASSERS!!...

Lots of my readers are psyched about THIS Sunday's (July 29th) E'Town NOSTALGIA SUMMERNATIONALS. I am too!! Come on out to Old Bridge Township Raceway Park for the total wayback time machine drag racing experience!!... Gates open 8am, Time Trials 10am, The Big Show starts at 1pm...

Yesterday's NOSTALGIA SUMMERNATIONALS & FUNNY CAR REUNION at E'Town was lots of fun... Admittedly, the weather reports for the event were far from perfect, it was kind of hot 'n' humid, with sporadic bouts of rain... However, a decent number of racers and hardcore fans still braved discouraging weather reports and made tracks to the event... It was great to see our DragList's own Bill Pratt along with "JAck APPROVED" Jack Redd!!-- I really appreciate you guys making the long commute to show your support for the race... I thank all the folks who came together to make this year's running of the event a most memorable one... It's all in my blog... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...

Bill, I'm glad that you and Jack had a good time... I think everyone who braved the shaky weather predictions and still managed to come out to the race were darn happy they did... Walter Frey and the E'Town gang put together a memorable event for the racers and fans... I haven't mentioned Evan Knoll in my blog for a long time... However, there's some genuine breaking news regarding his court battles that have recently surfaced, so I figure it's sort of my duty (I guess?) to discuss same in my blog-- After all, I do have a reputation for boldly confronting the good, the bad, and the ugly of our sport... I hope that former Torco Racing Fuels honcho Evan Knoll isn't too sheepish about the prospect of spending an extended stay in the slammer... It appears that Uncle Sam will be seeking vengeance come Knoll's scheduled November sentencing... That's BAAAAAD news for Knoll...

After Erica Enders became the 1st woman EVER to win the Pro Stock class at an NHRA natl event, she posed for a photo with her trophy in hand, in front of Greg Anderson's trailer, the guy who she put on the trailer to win the event... While I believe the photo is waaay cute and funny, allegedly the pic has Greg Anderson steaming-- I weigh in on this somewhat silly matter with my ultra-popular alter-ego driven drag racing blog...
