Cheryl just texted us saying her Mom's eye surgery went well. But, they have scheduled her other eye for Tuesday, so she's staying for that & will come back Wed. So, I'll be an extended Bachelor. :?

Mornin'. The plan for this morning is to update the playoff sign at the football field. They didn't give me the playoff info last year so there's 2 years to do to get it up to date. I'm hoping I can reach it with an extension ladder so I don't have to drag the trailer out there. The last time I updated the sign was right after the tornado. It had blown over, so all I had to do is walk out on the sign and letter it like doin' floor graphics.

Wow, it's a brisk 56.7°f this am in July = A/C off - Whole house fan on. Still not a cloud though, so we continue to dry out.

Morning folkz. 61/78 with sunny skies. Well, I survived the four year old yesterday at the zoo and we both came home tired as could be. I pooped out about an hour before the little one did at the zoo so we both were in need of some rest after we came home. I had to take a nap before her mother came to pick her up as I was toast and Sharon closed her eyes shortly thereafter. We got to see the zoo through the eyes of a four year old and it made us feel young again.... for a while. We stopped at Mikey D's for breakfast, ate coney dogs for lunch and after she went home we stopped for a burger late at night and sat in the car watching them resurface the road that goes under I-77. Neither Sharon nor I had any trouble sleeping last night.

Good morning. Didn’t see the sunrise on Golden Ears Mountain this morning. I was given a sleep aid and slept till 7:15. My breakfast is a clear bag of something plumbed into my right hand. I thought I’d add that since you’re talking aboout food. Hahahaha

Mornin' Boyd and Jack. I got the sign updated. Good job to be done with, although it was a pretty nice morning. Temps have been cooler lately. Couple other sign jobs to knock out, then I may work on getting more DNL 13 photoz' uploaded to Google Photos. (at least the birds liked the sign  )

Hi, everyone. You know me -- always the last to post!

Great looking sign, Gary, and enjoy that beef!

Rest up, Gorilli, but hey, wasn't it the weekend?

And sorry you can't enjoy real food, Boyd.

I am commiserating with you this weekend. My last food was Thursday night's dinner. I needed an extended fast to get rid of the vacation food and carbs. Feeling great and will probably go for five days (eating dinner or lunch on August 1).

Have a great week! bp

bp, I also went fast and almost got a ticket for it so watch out!!!!!!!!!!!!
66/79 today with overcast skies and it has already begun to rain. I have a doctor's appointment this morning then I need to pickup some meds on the way home. Oh yeah, I have to get an Amazon card too. I was going to start working on the 84 Chevy I just drug out of the old garage but if it keeps the rain up I may melt so we will schedule something else to do. Sharon and I had a leisurely Sunday and just chilled all day after church. :D :D :D
