I saw that at the top of the deck lid, and I thought that it was a touching and thoughtful gesture. It speaks volumes of the type of man that Larry Laverty must have been. He rides with Rapid. I regret that I never had the opportunity to meet him. But I do know Rapid, and as he and Gator and AJ have all said, the man was a major influence on all of you. I can tell from knowing you guys that Larry Laverty was an honorable man, because his qualities were absorbed and are now displayed by you all. WC1

Very true thread name. It makes me feel great that I know the one and only "Rapid" Randy Baker. You are indeed a "Class Guy"

I dontt know Randy personally, but have had the opportunity to converse and kibitz with him on the CFC board. By the way he presents himself there and here, I can tell he's all you say he is. I hope to find out face to face someday soon.

Larry was very well-respected and liked, no doubt about that.

Randy Baker redefines "class". A true friend and one helluva driver! Randy was the first to put a smile on my face when I was down and out. Ol' Virgil would be dang lucky to get this man in one of his flopper's! Thanks Randy!

Randy and Laura define passion for something that I truly relate to.
Larry saw and responded to it.
Randy, giving tribute to a lost brother in arms is classy.

*Larry's Speed Shop was one of the last true traditional Speed Shops still standing!
