my bro has been a welder for 15 years and got a auto helmet about 4 years ago ,which he loves. I on the other hand hate them .I have used them ,but the whole 1/20,000 speed on most of them just says every 20,000 arcs i get a sec of flash burn over the course of the arcs .It sounds like a lot 20,000 arcs ,its not i lost count one day at 300 something .Not to mention the hick ups and malfunctions they have from time to time.

Keep in mind i think fuel injection is of the devil as well ........
Now we have more and more of our youth going to the rice burner way of life. It makes my chest hurt to hear a teenager talk of his buddy's Nissan as the fastest car in town.

Oddest thing....... I picked up the A/D helmet a few days ago to weld the attachment rack for the track loader. And, I'll B if the thing didn't start workin' again........    Narry a glitch during the whole project. :? :? go Figure :? :? B4 I left it out in the sun for hours to no avail ..... accordin' to the directions if that didn't work it had to be taken back to a dealer for repair. It seems to have fixed itself..............
