Postby flyinhillbilly » Sun Dec 10, 2006 11:35 pm

i had a little spare time today and decided to go down to the road below my house ( where i nearly crashed the chevelle ) and do a little burnout in the farm turd, i powerbraked it till the turbo started to spool then released the brake and hit second. 130-40 feet later the rear end (12 bolt ) shelled and the driveshaft fell down due to a smashed u joint .

but i guess i never expected the engine to outlive any of the drivetrain, so woo hoo (i guess) :o

Nice burnout, FHB, but dang. How hard is it going to be to put that back? Good to see you again...looks like the turbo is humming...Cheers, WC1

lol, i doubt that song is about me, it does have some eerie similarities though. i got moving on the chevelle again, i managed to build the hotside of the turbo system, mounted the wastegate, and built the mount for the turbo itself.i'm having trouble with the laptop right now, but i'll get some pics up soon.

her's the new hotside.

i mounted the wastegate today, but it sticks up above the hood line, i guess i'll have to put a 90 in it as i'm trying to keep all this under a flat hood
