Nice work on the body and paint. I surely do hope that the person who did this was properly compensated. We wouldn't want you know who to get upset now, would we???
LMAO!!! That is funny!

Randy, are you going with the 36 tires?
If you think it's exciting now, wait till we start it.

Carl at Mickey is trying to talk me out of them. I told him I wanted to try them. I have a new set of 34.5's coming and a set of their new 36 inch ones coming also.

I have all new wheels coming with 2-rear sets of wheels so I can have both sizes mounted.

I have a few new goals for this year, and I think these changes just may help me achieve them.

PS, or I will screw up our combination so completely we can't go down any track!!!

Rapid, I'm not sure what the 319 is for. Perhaps the pinion depth???
The 30-7 stands for 30 teeth on the ring gear and 7 on the pinion. Divide the 30 by 7 and you get 4.28, commonly known as a 4.30.

I would like to try a 3.89 in my car some day. I think it would work better than the 4.30 [4.28] that I have now. It would calm it down some off the line and possibly give me a little more top end. The turbo 400 has a 2.43 low gear and it can get pretty violent sometimes.
That is pretty much something for way down the line as my main goal right now is just to get up and running.

I've run both 34.5" tires and 36" tires and I didn't find any difference in them. I get what I can find used, as new ones are out of my price range.

Thanks for the info Rocky. I can't wait for you to get the beast out again and tell us how it went. 8)

2.43 low, I guess it is a tad violent! I can see why.
