maybe and only for convesation the point being not to get lulled into thinking everything in the trailer is riding along glass smooth like it feels from the drivers seat ? When we towed the GG car to indy behind a pickup truck it seems like we could feel every line in the road, always watching the car on the trailer bouncing, you could hear the ramps rattleing etc.. when we towed with the motoehome you almost forget anything is back there.. as it wasn't in the mirrors all the time and you couldn't hear it.... just a thought

its hard to explain, but for some reason trailers with spring style suspensions will bounce more when pulled by a airride vehicle my thought is either the airride doesn't compress readily like steel springs and makes it harder on the pivot point of the hitch or the opposite reaction, all I know is a freind of mine has had problems (torsion bar suspension on a 32') with his suspension settings loosening up while towing and his remeady to the problem was to get a air ride trailer but till that point we blocked up the car on the chassis and tied it down tight and no problems .

that too .it kind of like differnet commodities I haul in the one trailer we have at work some times it rides like ^%$^%&!!! with light commodities , and with heavy product like glass and its a air ride trailer!!( yes they make air ride tankers A.K.A. wobbling willies )

It's weird. We pull a 28ft straight hitch trailer behind the dually crew cab. I left a coke can, open on the counter when we left the track, 30 mi later we got home, still there!! Picked it up and finished it!! We have put stuff on the floor in the trailer, doesn't move at all. Depends on the rig I guess.
