Looking great, FHB! Wish there was a way to keep the hood flat, but even with a little rise on it, it'll still be a sleeper. Looks to me like that thing's gonna fly, a term befitting your name. Good luck out there. Keep us posted on those times! Cheers, WC1

it turned fuel into noise tonight, i think i may actually make it sat. the hood i have for it is a 6" cowl so it looks kind of hot roddy, i'm going to make a fiberglass copy of it, and make a bulge to cover the wastegate rather than hacking up the one i already have.

i got it running!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i've been working late on it all week (started sunday), and it built boost tonight, i have it limited to 10psi, and 20 degrees of total timing right now, but it will do a GNARLY burnout even turned down that far 8) 8) i'm going to the track saturday if the trip i have to take thrusday and friday doesn't eat all of my disposable income. i'm going to start slow, and sneak up on the tune because this engine is nothing special, and i don't have a very good saftey margin for a bad tune, also i will be on 225/60/15 radials, so traction will definatley be an issue, but hopefully it'll go 11's anyway, which i guess wouldn't be bad for an all steel family car with power seats, and windows. i can't wait to get the good motor done, it should nearly double the output of patches, but at least with patches i have a running turbo car, not just a pile of parts that's waiting to go to the machine shop.

we didn't have a camera tonight, but i took it for a little hop up the street, smoking the tires at a 30mph roll in 2nd with a $300 engine is waaaaaaaaay to much fun, i also wound up getting the cops called on me :? but by the time they got there i was standing next to the back of my car which was inside, when i seen john law, i just reached over and nonchelantly {sp?} pulled the door down.
