i was looking at one of my time slips today, it was the one where i eased out in first and hit it in second, only to have it wheelhop so bad i couldn't read my tach, i pedaled it and it hopped again, so i eased into it and it ran hard for about a second before it started shooting ducks, i noticed that the mph at the 1/8 was 79.62 :?: the slip reads like this

3.0750 60 ft
7.3552 330
10.4430 660 et
79.62 660mph
13.0782 1000ft et
92.04 1000ft mph
15.3029 1/4 et
92.63 1/4 et

they gave me the wrong slip on the second pass so i don't have that info, but the 1/8 mph really gets my attention with the other incrementals being as slow as they are, i think this thing may actually be making good power, i can't wait to get a clean pass out of it.
the police never think it's as funny as i do

i have some dyno time booked for later this week, i'll know just what day when i call back tuesday, i should know for sure if the old heap is all sorted out after that, i have a friend in spokane washington that's helping me get it dialed in long distance, he's the guy with the 9 second gta with a stock 350, so he knows what's up with tuning junk. i also have a true radial race in two weeks, and i still need to put my glide in, i'm going to try to do that tuesday afternoon.i'll post some numbers fter i get back from the dyno and let you guys know how it went. judging by the test drive i went for yesterday, i'd say it's close to being where it needs to be.

396rwhp, 482rwtq@10psi
we were having a fuel restriction between the tank and pump called a 3/8 line,so we had to keep it at 10psi or it would start to go lean, i'm going to just put my fuel cell in there with a 1/2 feed to the pump, i think the old heap is going to make big power once i hit 20psi, it's strong enough to power through the tranny in drive as it is, when i shift from 2nd to 3rd it doesn't ever show a positive rpm drop, and it never quite couples up all the way, but picks up mph like a mf'er, btw, i still haven't got the glide installed, this is a th350.

i'm still kind of pissed that i didn't get to go past 10psi, but i guess those are pretty good numbers for a stock 350, i'm going to see about getting video posted for me next week.
