 well other than it sure was great to get out of the house yesterday after a long winter and two weeks of weather cancellations prior it sure was good to hook up with Don, Derek, and Bill (racer403) once again !! With my recent back problems (flare up ) it was good for me to pound the asphalt back and forth from the pit spot to the starting line (no golf cart yesterday :P ) sadly it was a no round wins day for us.. for whatever reasons.. Bill on the other hand went some rounds in both classes so that was fun !! good job Bill !! I won't go into details as i didn't take notes knowing that round by round stats are posted these days on the tracks website.. sat in the stands at the starting line to watch Bill and others, watched Bret chainsmoke and lay on the track getting some of his great low angle pics :P then prayed that the John the Plumber van i drove to the track that i had only got running at 2pm yesterday afternoon would not breakdown on I-70 AT MIDNIGHT ON THE LAP HOME  I guess i did good as it brought me on in safe with nary a miss or flashing check engine lamp :D maybe Don through Derek will add to this ? doc
GOOD TO GO !!

 yea thanks FH and Mr. Jean... I was just glad to get over there.. i was in pain mentally and physically.... and a nervous wreck just driving the heap from home and back...had a hard time concentrating on the job at hand other than "just get there" and see what happens... and "get home"... not a good mind set for sure !! As Don said, we have raced worse and won some rounds.. just no luck our way.... but i admit i was a zombie... Don knows.... next time...

:( not sure if Don will bother with removing all the vinly but i know for a fact that John the Plumber will have to pass on helping out this season and also Don told me that the Gator Gumbo deal is also most likely over.. it sure was fun though being the most strangely sponsored car in the history of st.louis   :P
