Timmy Powell lost his life in a racing accident this past Saturday at Capital Raceway. Rest in peace Tim and my condolences to his family.

Bill, I'm sorry I can't because I'm just passing info along from another board. All I do know is, he isn't a regular racer at Capital and races mostly at MIR. If I do learn anymore, I'll be sure to update it on this post.

Timmy was a regular at IHRA regional events and area tracks with his Corvette roadster.
My condolences to his family and friends regarding this tragic loss.

Thanks. Sorry to hear this. I don't remember Tim from when I was announcing there from 87 to 2002... He must have spent a lot of time on the national tour. RIP, nonetheless. bp
