Hi Gang, just thought I would pop an update in here. It has been a while.

The car is torn down. We have the damaged block sent back to Keith Black to see about having it repaired. All the items needing re-certified have been sent out, and most are already back. I have sent my suit in, it is recertifed as well.

We have 20-new pistons on order, and are waiting to decide what to get for new rods. We will buy a couple of sets plus, so we can end up with 2-complete engines together, and enough spares to almost complete a 3rd.

We have installed a new dual mastercylinder with the ability to adjust the front to rear bias. We have not been happy with the amount of brakes this car has. We are making a couple of changes to make it act like Scott and I think it should.

We sent the trans off to have it gone through. It is a nice change this particular time, the converter seemed to last the season without ballooning.

We have a small seal leak in the rear end to take care of also.

Then the car can start going back together and be ready for action in 2008.

Scott has been working on his new chassis jig. He is going to weld a new chassis together. If it goes like his plan, he will then build a few and sell them. He doesn't want to be in the chassis business, he just likes to fabricate things in the shop.

Thanks, Randy. Sounds like we are getting ready for the season in a big way. bp
