Ok gang, I'm sure some of you have or know about these thingys. I saw an info mercial on the GARMIN about a month ago, sounded cool. Now I see the TOM - TOM quite a bit.

Zappy wants Santa to bring one. I don't need the "ROLLS ROYCE" but I don't want the "Pinto" either. I do want it portable - and I want it to talk.
And it MUST be easy to use.

What kind do you have - what features are a "MUST HAVE" - do you like your's ???

Any info will help, Thanks folks.

Cool. The Tom Tom (version 3) just got an excellent review in a paper I was reading. That impressed me enough to ask Mrs. Santa for one! bp

Zappy,
Don't think you can go wrong with either Garman or Tom Tom.
And you already know how to find Eddyville without it. LOL

Yer right Al, as long as I can find EDDYVILLE, I'm set for '08.

Jim, thanks for the maps, I was getting tired of trying to find those BURMA SHAVE signs.

Hi Zappy. I have/ use the Garmin 350 and like it a lot. It small enough to carry in your pocket and I transfer it between the Tahoe and Vette as needed. Here a link to do some comparing. Have look here. 8)
