Looking for car history

I am new to this site and thought I would try to see if there are members that could help out. I am restoring a classic 69 mustang and found a NHRA sticker in my car The sticker has a driver number on it. There is also a pit pass. The pit pass does not have a track name on it, nor does the driver number sticker.

The date is March 21, 1971.
I was hopeful that I could try to find out what track was running on this date. Is it possible to find out who the driver was? This could be great car history as it might be the original owner and may even have some great car history to be found out.

Any help or leads on where/how to start is greatly appreciated. I have searched on the net but have not had any luck.

Hi and welcome, MustangMan. Please send along all the info from the ticket so that we can have a look. There were TONs of drag strips operating in 1971, so we'll need all the info you can provide for this mystery to be solved. bp
