Sorry i havent updated anything but ive been offline for awhile..
Sat the 12th turned out to be a beautiful day...no RAIN!!!
Well as far as the racing went we started off with a safe tuneup with the 42 nos jets in the fogger.first pass the car was a wet noodle..went 9.17@148...wtf? well we just had it too safe...Backed the fuel press down kicked alil timing in it and next qualifier went 8.95@149!!! FINALLY back in the 8's!!!
First round we just kept doing the same pulled fuel and gave it more timing...Had to run the gentleman that invited me to race Brian Block and his bad 82 Monte..i had a better light .102 to his .243 and thats the only time i was in front...by the time i got done looking at the sky (man it was wheelieing)he was had out in front of me...my 8.89@152 to his 7.83 at 170 sumtin(does it matter??) man i was thrilled and the crowd dug side by side wheelies!!
We went and spread the jets out more kicked the pressure up to compensate and gave er more timing yet...went for a t&t hit and ran 8.85@154.96!! we picked up over 6MPH over the evening...i think were headed in the right direction finally!!
