Old skool gearhead, but thrill to the new speed.

Not a hardcore strip burner, but I crave anything to do with fuel rubber oil and power. Certainly won't fault anyone for being dedicated to one type of racing, but hope to find a place here to enjoy sharing and learning. Doncha just hate a day when you didn't learn something new? Before I'm asked, the avatar shows ducts coming into my birdcatcher. The butterflies only come open when it rains. The ducts channel air from 75 inches of vent at the base of the windshield on my street driven 1955 Olds. Yep, the power is still Olds too. GM gave up on them, but I didn't.
I lean toward nostalgic drags, but crave any and all that has to do with building a better (fast) mouse trap. Thanks again for being here and hope to catch fellow members at events............ One more thing, I'm a magician too and Woosh describes the way I can make things vanish. But it works for the way I like to go down the asphalt too. Hence-Sir Woosh[/b]
