Spoke with Dad today.
The Dr. has decided to leave the "Hot Spots" in his mouth alone, doesn't believe that they are cancer.
So, now Dad will be scheduled for a "MRI" and if that goes as the Dr. expects, radiation will begin directed at the cancer spot in his lung.
All I know for now, will update as more becomes available...............Perry Jr.

Results of the MRI show no more cancer, other than the cancer spot on his lung, the "hot spots" in his mouth were due to irritation and are not cancerous.
On June ninth Dad will start thirty radiation treatments to last into July, by June 30th, he will also have had five chemo treatments and then to be detemined if more are needed.
If all goes as planned he should be OK, time will tell.

Dad has now had four radiation treatments and one chemo therapy.
He says they have him on steroids to help offset the ill side effects of the treatments.
He says he has never felt better and he is going to ask if he can keep getting steroids after the treatments..lol.
He knows he's not going to be a "super star" athelete or anything, but he's never had more energy!
Things seem good and he is very upbeat and positive!
