What's on the Jukebox?

Here's where we go to kick back after the races with our pals. Pour a tall one, punch a few buttons on the jukebox, and relax...

Ihave to admit i am listening to some old band tapes mixed with my local friend Barbara Carr...a great blues singin' Gal with 3 albums and a big hit in at the blues shows in Europe..always had a great band backing her...she played the Oliver Sain review along with Fontella Bass, Ike and Tina, Billy Peek etc.. WC1 will know what talkin' about.... 8)

MuchMoreMusic channel featured Meatloaf / Bat out of hell on "Classic Albums" last night. Enjoyed the show so much I dug the album out of the vinyl pile this AM and had a good listen. "Paradise by the dashboard light" was popular when Marie and I first met so it had special meaning for both of us. At the time I was daily driving a 1967 Nova SS with my old 65 Nova H/SA stocker engine in it. That Meatloaf 8 track tape was the only one loud enough to hear over the noise(cheater cam, solid mounts, 5000 stall convertor) I still can't believe I drove that car that way for two years.
Almost every song on that album was a hit - another favourite was "2 out of 3 ain't bad"
