Thanks Rapid & WC.

Jeff did a test fit.Everything fit purdy' well. The only snag was the aftermarket lower control arms. They are beefier than the stamped stock arms and so won't slide in the bracket far enough for the bolt holes to line up. Should be an easy fix.

Now Jeff can pull it out, I'll make the alterations, then Jeff can clean up the parts & paint everything for final assembly.

No work on the "Z" today but Jeff got rid of his old camaro through the cash for clunkers deal. Picked up this unit.

It's a 4 cyl. manual 5 speed. It's got the sport package, tail lights are different than the base model & the Cobalt stripe that Jeff doesn't care for, but It'll problee' grow on him. It's got On-star that he thinks he'll let expire after the 1 year free deal is up. Spoz. to get 20 something city & 37 highway, so it will make a nice work caah.

Looks goota, but I'd lose the last 1/3 of the stripe and the dealer logo on the trunk... and I'd tint the windows.

Yea' the stripe was just about a deal breaker for him. It showed on the sticker price as a $250. add on. Jeff told them he'd buy the caah if he didn't have to pay for the stripes. They deducted the stripes. Now he doesn't know if he wants to keep 'em or not. I told him it wouldn't take much to come up with a different stripe or no stripe at all. I also told him I need to bump my "caah stripe" prices a bit if they are gettin' 250 for that.
