Yesterday we raised over $5,000 for Jim's wife Marsha. The memory of this great man will live forever in our hearts. Tommie Lee and Pacifica Radio KPFT's Blues Hound organized and executed a first-class benefit that went on all day into the night. I was honored to be called to do the graphics, help with the stage equipment and finally to perform the closing set with the Pee Wee Bowen Band. God Bless Jim Shortt. WC1

Sorry to hear about Jim, Wildcat! With your comments and Bill's comments of meeting him earlier in his life, he had to be a GREAT guy. Well I guess he is making music with Les, and other musicians' that have pass on.
