Well hello to all my fellow listers, coming to you live for a brief moment from the cabana in the middle of downtown Port Byron 5 miles
south of the Cordova race track where we have the trailer parked.
I dont have internet at the track or while driving but some local citizen here was kind to have left his router on so that I may borrow the sevice.

Riley and I are having a really great time being out on the road, and we are now 1 week into the 5 week tour. Bowling green was stiinky hot and I almost
did not make my first run on friday but I manned up and ran an 8.21@164 in the dead of the heat.
I was running for B/Comp which was an 8.0 index, and I lost first round to a nhra super comp altered that had nothing to do with Nostalgia whatso ever, and
that was also a 685 ci car that can run 7.40`s...he sand bagged me the whole way,..if I knew thats how people played the game I would have ran in C/Comp 8.50 index...I just thought we liked to run are cars all out,..I will not run 8.0 again..period.
Met lots of internet people at Bowling green and other than the heat we had a blast pitting with Kevin Sine aka Troublemaker who drives the Troublemaker 1976 Vega BB/FC it was a good time.

Now we are at Cordova Dragstrip dodging Tornados and sever Thunderstorms,. this will all change by as the weather wil be absolutly Northwest weather like
with partly sunny and 85 on friday and overcast and mid 70`s on saturday....It looks like I will be match racing the old Bill shifsky Pinto that is now a
stack injected alky car,..this will be exactly what it is all about, and I look forward to running it old school with a lot of showmanship.

so the plan is to head to Norwalk next week for the gasser reunion, and I maybe running against The Red Baron Mustang 2 if it is still Injected and not a blown car,..I have still yet to find out what all was cancelled at columbus, it may hvae been just the NPCA that moved their race to INdy..????
My number is 541-806-1074 if anybody can find out for me..thanks...
While in Ohio I plan on seeing Ken Veney, but I have yet to hear back from Ken so I will give it sometime and call back.
and then,....IT IS THE DRAGLIST NATIONALS,..SEE YA ALL THERE.

so,..its back to the track and I dont know when the next time I will be back on the net,..if you need to contact me mu number is 541-806-1074.

Thanks again everyone and I will see you all soon.

Vic

I hope to see Vic and Riley tomorrow.
I will come home tomorrow night and then go back East to South Haven, Michigan Sunday morning. Is that nuts or what? Just how it works out for wife and daughter.
So, I will not have time to get my photo take from tomorrow into the computer until at least Thursday of next week.
I like Vic's weather forecast much better than the one I am reading online and seeing on TV.
