ya know....I just had a thought...(ok....so I have 'em all the time...but THIS time I'm not getting a head ache  )......
being a two-stroke......it would prolly DEMAND to have a clutch assisted tranny hung behind it......somehow, I don't think a converter would opperate too well.......I may be wrong.....have been before, in fact I usually am wrong....that's what's so "right" about me......well....<that and the fact that I'm so dadgum good lookin' ....(LMSAO!!!...and NO Comments from YOU Robbie!!! :x      )

Ya know Billy, your probably right. Depending on how it was ported, it could be real peaky as far as the power band. Probably be a dog till about 6 or 7,000 rpm. Can you imagine? If all would stay in one piece, leave at 8,000 and shift around 12,000, shades of modified production!!! Might even rev higher, a glide would probably work, but might need a three speed to keep o the power band! In any case, the sound would be awesome!!! Eight expansion chambers!!! This could be fun!!!!!

I hate to throw a wrench into this topic but I don't thing it would work.
I was real heavy into 2 strokes YEARS ago.
The intake charge has to enter the motor through windows in the piston skirt in the crank area.
When the piston comes down it pushes the charge through ports into the top of the motor to be fired.
You would have to find a way to seal each crank throw to each cylinder or else the the fuel charge could go to any cylinder.
If you look at the old Kawasaki 500/750 twins, the "block" sealed the crank in the middle so it kept the cylinders seperate.

I could be wrong, I might be wrong, but I still am better looking than you Billy........LMAO

The kawasaki 3 cylinder (I said twins earlyer, hey it was late last night..LOL) bikes were VERY fast. I owned a 500 and a 750 YEARS ago. I would be a cool idea if it could be done.
