Well. I'm finally able to add some pictures... So here they are from the second time I ran the dragster finishing up all my license passes out at Fontana Raceway.
And getting some driving "lessons" from my time... More like, "Kid. If you mess up the car, I'm going to jack you up!"
As of today, the block and rods are at the machine shop. Hoping to have them back by Friday so we can start putting the puzzle back together over the weekend. The goal is to make the May 19 & 20th PSCA race at Fontana. The goal for the engine, is to get me in the 7's.

yea.. we were back in the lanes when it happened.. i figured Bret would have a photo or two as he was right there... i don't know John Tignor personally so i didn't walk up to the scene or into his trailer after they put it in the box... there was a crowd around it....GOOD TO GO !!

.....Sounds to me like you are heading in the right direction.....
as for "Murphy"??.....Me and that &#^&@%@!$ are on a first name basis....I have found over the years that it's best to try to make friends with him.....doesn't always work....but it does give those occasional cussing rants a focal point
