Sorry to hear about Clyde, may the new and improved Clyde II be a fitting replacement and serve you well. Now go out and get a camera so we can follow along with the build-up.

Well, it's official ......as of about 3:45 pm on Wednesday afternoon....Clyde is Dead.....Rods through the oil pan, Dead!!
The ol' boy got me to to within a mile of Tim's shop, and was actually still running, but at the intersection I was at, there was no room on the shoulders for me to get out of the road, and I figured it would be best to let Clyde die with at least a "little" dignity and shut it off there.......besides, I didn't want to get run over by a semi if Clyde's ticker quit tickin in the middle of that busy highway .......

I am not sure if I will have any kind of Memorial Service other than just all my fond (and some not quite so fond )memories and the pages here on the Board.

As a p.s. to this......I did get the gears changed out in Peggy and am trying to get some of the tools and equipment swapped out and in my other van...(that also is having "issues" about cranking {enter one or two of Pro60's "banghead" and "cussing" smilies here}
Stay tuned

Sorry to hear it. With the advent of the internet, Clyde was possibly the most famous non-running race car in the history of the sport! :lol: :cry: bp
