I don't remember for sure. I think his best time was down around 14.00 or so on street tires & 9.06 1/8 that same day @ 66? (Eddyville was the first & last time for the slicks). We ran out of available T&T days. He's going to tear into the trans. one of these days and replace some parts to get it to shift a bit better. Maybe he'll take another stab @ my 1970's 1/8 mi. 8:48 panel truck time this summer. I keep tellin' him he better get it while it's still there for the takin', cuz' I'll be breakin' that 'ol record one of these days.
