Thanks, 'Gate...that site is very well-done and is updated in detail every day. I came across it a few years ago, lost track of it, and the other night I was reorganizing my bookmarks and I found it so I checked it out again and it's still going strong. Thought some folks'd get a kick out of this stuff...shoot, I've learned something every time I've gone there (once a day) so it's been well worth the click of a finger...I've thought, what if there was a page called This Day in DRAG RACING History...Cheers, WC1

I saw her live here in '96 (on a Sunday night...free tickets...Houston's "not quite ready for the big-time", but it's a convenient and lucrative stopover for a touring act to either do a Sunday or a weeknight gig while between major media centers. We rarely if ever get a major act in here on weekends)...anyway, she had all her clothes on...hard to believe it was 10 years ago... She had a great band, some pretty cool songs, but her harmonica playing was ridiculously bad...she didn't even do all her hits off of "Jagged Little Pill"...she had one of the best drummers I ever saw...the sold-out venue (90% female) sang along with every song. Cheers, WC1
