It might take a 1/4 mile to get itself wound up with the higher gears, it'll be interesting. Hey - you can always put a bottle on it if it's too sluggish - then you'll have the only bottle-fed wheelie cart around - think of the new promotions!
A bottle! I'd rather just worry about how it's going to handle at top speed for now.
Ya, it's killing me to set and wait to see how it's going to work. I'm waiting right now for a alum fuel cell to get done so I can get rid of the original I had. Want to relocate the fuel tank so I don't need to remove the driver seat every time I need fuel. I installed electric start and can't wait to try that. This will eliminate alot of worry of needing someone there to start me up. So that's 2 good upgrades.
Once I have it all back together, I'll check the launch out here on the street. This weekend I hope! Then a mph check at MCIR May 1st.

plannin on it. Seeing Dad make his return will be good. Plus If they have a street car bracket that day I'll race my car. I checked their site and it looks like its just a test and tune right now, but it doesn't mention the golf cart deal yet either.

Good deal! Looking forword to seeing you again! :D

Yes, a opening day test and tune. Track owners have been gone all winter and are just getting back so maybe they'll post something about the cart race. I'm still waiting for pictures Mark took from the Jan 9th race.

Alot of good reading here in the Super Crew Reports. Rapid putting together a new car, looks 8)! Vic 2010 tour 8) , hope to meet you when you pass through Ohio Vic! Maritime's "Dare to be different" VW Golf with a jegster tube chassis! 8) And Pro with his "This is what you need before you work on your racecar" builds. Your a A1 fabricator Pro! Cool stuff!

I've been busy getting my stuff ready for this years shows. The high speed gears are installed and road tested. Speed? Won't know that till I can test on the track. But I'm thinking that I may need front brakes now! The stop sign at the end of the road came up pretty fast!
Working on more bookings for the cart. I picked up another show, Quaker City Racway for July 3rd. That's cool, because we'll get to see Rocky and the guy's from the GLNFCC a couple time this year. Nostalgia Funny Cars Rule!!! 8)

Working on trying to find sponsors or to sell ad space on the cart. Geez, that's tough! Maybe I'm crazy in thinking that there would be someone interested. But as far as I know I have the "first" exhibition golf cart wheelstander. I figure that alone would cause some media attention. I guess i'll find out as the year goes.

And I want to take a backup cart with me to the shows, just so if anything woud happen with the 340 cart, I could still perform and get paid. I took the 540cc Yamaha powered cart to a shop last night and run it on a dyno. Man, that's the way to do it! Sure beats road testing! Now it's fine tuned and runs great! Next is to paint a different color and get it setup for 1/4 mile wheelstands.

And lastly, this should help to get Zappy's mind on something else!
Zap! PJ! Bring a helmet along when you come to Marion for the May 1st race. I'm going to try and stuff 540 cart in the trailer and bring it along. So if you would like to take it for a drive you are more than welcome to.

Thanks everyone for reading, best of luck to everyone on their goals this year and be safe.
Daryl, reporting in for Classy Carts Motorsports.

Thanks 23t. I'd sure like to see one of those carts run some day. Sounds like you have a little "extra" for the competition this year.
15th Annual DRAGLIST Nationals Sometime in 2020. Somewhere in the USA.
