Many Many condolences, John... I'm here if you need an ear...
After reading your missive, honoring your father, I noticed a few similarities to my father...Both of our fathers were born in the summer of '43...your dad in June, my dad in July, less than a month apart. (my dad passed in 1980) They also Both served in the Phillipines....Did they perhaps know or meet one another?? We may never know...but somehow all this info just makes "me" feel THAT much closer to you as a friend. Rest well, Dad AND Mr. Ray.
