Hey folks... Just wanted to let everyone know that my "blog" page on the new & improved DRAG RACING UNDERGROUND site is finally up and running... I'm gonna do my best to remain current and on-top of the pertinent issues... Of course I'll be filling my readers in on all the exciting stuff happening at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park (E'TOWN)... And I'll be trying to offer insight, wisdom and perspective regarding the drag racing world (and beyond) to enlighten my readers, uh, yeah, sometimes I might even be a bit "controversial", but giving readers the real and unadulterated truth is what I've always been about, and I will continue to do so (even if it occasionally ruffles the feathers of the blowhard fakes and phonies)-- Hey, that's just the way I am... I'll be offering the kind of TRUTH and REALITY with HEART that's often lacking on much of the current drag racing internet--- Somebody has to be brave enough to tell the "REAL STORY"-- I'm definitely up for the task... Hey folks... The other day I posted about my new Drag Racing Underground blog page here at DragList and several other places, and of course it had to experience a glitch... Fortunately it's now up and running (fingers crossed)... I invite you all to read it daily (I'm gonna try to make it a daily thing)... It's already experiencing an awful lot of traffic (that's why my cyber staff think it crashed before), but my cyber staff have advised me that they modified and prepped the page for much larger volume than it was before-- Hope you enjoy it... I talk about drag racing and other stuff too... Oh, and the blog is "family friendly" so you don't have to hide it from the kids... Thanks... Thanks Jack... Drag Racing Underground is proud and fortunate to be officially "JACK APPROVED"... I'm getting into the groove of doing the blog with regularity... So far the blog has been kind of fun-- So far I've squashed the false rumors that Chaz Bono will be playing the role of the late great "Jungle Jim" in a feature film, although playing the role of legendary Pro Stock racer Larry Morgan might be a better fit... I've filled folks in on the DANZIG show at the Starland Ballroom, with our Mopar friend Johnny Kelly playin' drums-- Johnny played drums on a new BIG STICK track in the studio & drives a sweet '70 SuperBee... I informed folks about my home gardening exploits, because I know that there's a lot of drag racing folks who are also "closet gardeners" (even if they won't admit it)... And of course I keep all my readers abreast of what's happening at E'Town... And in my latest blog installment, and on a serious note, I pay tribute to one of my fave guys of the Nostalgia Funny Car scene, Rick Stambaugh, who passed away last Friday... As you may or may not know, Pat Musi had himself a pretty bad crash during Pro Mod qualifying at NHRA's Southern Nationals event... Pat's been a friend of Drag Racing Underground and mine for many years-- Now he's my neighbor too-- Pat is back at home, and recovering from surgery he needed as a result of the crash... I wrote a piece in my blog today about the strength I know Pat has and how I know he'll be back on track as soon as he's physically capable... There's also some info from yesterday's blog installment about E'Town's new "BIG TIRE OUTLAWS" class that kicks off this weekend (Sun May 22) at the historic Old Bridge Township Raceway Park-- The class will feature some of the heavyweights from the former heads-up "ULTRA QUICK 8"-- So you know it's gonna be a dastardly doorslammer show ("Mother Nature" is supposed to be kind to us on Sunday)... Just want to let folks know that I'm keeping my blog at Drag Racing Underground up and running (and current)... And thanks to my 19,000+ friends from myspace, viewers from my YouTube page, readers at the HAMB, YellowBullet, Bangshift, and of course here at DragList, the number of readers and folks bookmarking the blog has really taken off in a big way-- And I'm very thankful for that.... I'm very grateful to now be the most downloaded female blog on the drag racing internet... I really appreciate all the support... I guess by this time, many of you heard about General Motors CEO Dan Akerson wanting us to pay another $1 per gallon gas tax, because he wants us to buy more of GM's "fuel efficient" and "greener" automobiles... I give Akerson's "strong arming" approach of the American people some very serious thought, and respond with my blog from a drag racing perspective... I conducted a pretty extensive poll with my blog, to see whether or not the drag racing community (at least the part of our community that surfs the internet) has any compassion for Evan Knoll's current crop of major legal problems... The government wants to know if Evan Knoll's 2004 Dodge Viper crash effected his mental health to the point where he's deemed incompetent to stand trial... ETown's 36th Annual NIGHT OF THRILLS is Saturday June 18th-- I'll be there with bells on... A busy day for the blog... "The Doc" (Celebrity Drag Racing Authority & Visionary)...
